Education Programs
We will be putting on a few educational programs. We will have a gallery internship which will include training in marketing, managing exhibitions and other gallery events,education,donor relations, contracting between artists and art galleries, financial planning and management, and sales. In addition, we will be putting on art and arts administration workshops which will include lessons about art techniques; creating a website, internships, and contracts between artists and art museums; social media and email marketing, making show cards; labeling artwork; financial planning and management; development; selling art internationally; and more. Through our educational programs, students will learn about art and arts administration.
Our gallery interns will complete a six to nine-month internship for $18.00 per hour. It will be a completely virtual one during which they will assist with marketing. First, they will assist with managing the gallery’s Instagram, Facebook, website, and email marketing. They will assist with editing photos for social media marketing, creating a brochure, and designing marketing materials. After assisting with marketing, they will assist our director with exhibitions and other gallery events. They will assist with planning, setting up, breaking down, and supervising exhibitions and other gallery events. After that, they will assist with talent recruitment. They will recruit artists to hold virtual exhibitions and other gallery events on the gallery’s website. They will assist with creating descriptions for artwork, photographing it for the website, installing it at the Union County Arts Council, and judging it too. Following that task, they will assist with education. They will assist with planning and promoting workshops.They will assist with creating an internship program. They will create a job description for it which will involve a collaboration among artists, executive directors, professors, and gallery assistants to come with the final description. After assisting with our educational programs, they will learn about development. They will learn how to get donors and maintain relationships with them. After learning about development, they will assist contracting artists. They will assist with writing contracts between artists and our gallery. After assisting with contracting artists, they will learn about financial planning and management. They will learn about how to project unearned and earned income and create meaningful measures and analysis income statement and balance sheet forecasts that communicate their implications.They will learn about the fiscal management of arts organizations too. Finally, they will learn about how to sell artwork through our Facebook, Instagram, posters, and website at home and abroad.
Our teaching artists and arts adminstrators will teach workshops about a variety of art studio, art history, and / or arts administration topics. They will teach about art techniques; creating a website, internships, and contracts between artists and art museums; social media and email marketing, making show cards; labeling artwork; financial planning and management; development; selling art internationally; and more, which will make it a comprehensive educational program. In addition to teaching about art techniques, they will teach about art history to make students aware of the different art movements throughout history and give them a chance to apply their styles to their work.We also want to provide artists with professional development opportunties. Again, through our educational programs, students will learn about art, art history, and arts administration.
Our executive director will require the candidates for teaching artist positions to submit a CV, cover letter, three professional references and portfolio. If he or she selects the candidates for an interview , they will be interviewed two times.If he or she decides to hire them after those interviews,he or she will send them a job offer through email.During their first two weeks, they will type up a list of art supplies for each class and a schedule of their classes. Our executive director will work with each instructor to come up with a convenient schedule for him or her. After the supply list and schedule are finalized, our art instructors will be allowed to begin teaching workshops which must cover a variety of mediums or a single medium at an advanced level. For teaching arts administrator positions, our executive director will require candidates to submit a CV, cover letter, and three professional references. Just like the candidates for teaching artist positions, they will be interviewed two times. If hired to teach workshops, they will be sent an job offer through email too. During their first two weeks, they will type up a list of supplies for each class and a schedule of their classes.Again,our executive director will work with each instructor to come up with a convenient schedule for him or her. After the supply list and
schedule are finalized, our arts administration instructors will be allowed to begin teaching workshops which must cover strategic planning, financial planning and management, marketing, cultural policy, advocacy, community relations, research, and leadership. Both teaching artists and arts administrators will have teach workshops which cover a variety of art studio and arts administration topics.Like candidates for teaching arts administrator positions , our executive director will require candidates for the director of international outreach position to submit a CV,cover letter,and three professional referreferences. If he or she selects the candidates for an interview, they will be interviewed two times.They will be sent an job offer through email.During their first two weeks day, they will have to search for five international art museums online, summarize why the art museums are good partners for the museum, look up industry trends, and write down the contact information for each art museum.After we have determined an art museum to partner with , our executive director and director of international outreach will work with Sister Cities USA to connect with the museum and its local government and surrounding colleges and universities. There will be photographs of each museum’s artwork shared with our executive director and director of international outreach. After they carefully analyze the artwork and show it to the president of the board, and get it approved by him or her. They will select their favorite pieces. They will arrange a trip to the art museum to meet its executive director and get more information about the pieces from its curator. After they receive and understand it, they will pack up the pieces and have a delivery man or woman take the pieces to the airport. They will meet him or her at the airport and board an airplane containing the pieces. Once the plane arrives in the United States, our executive director and director of international outreach will unload the artwork from the plane and place it inside a delivery truck. The delivery driver will take the artwork to the museum while our executive director and director of international outreach follow behind the truck.When they reach the Union County Arts Council , they will help the driver unload the artwork and place it in the gallery. After all the artwork is unpacked, our executive director and director of international outreach will recruit artists to analyze and recreate its style. Finally, the artists will create artwork in the style of the international piece and exhibit it on our website and at the gallery. In exchange for their artwork, we will send each partner museum our artwork to analyze and recreate its style in their artwork. Our gallery intern will care for the collection .He or she will digitalize our collection of contemporary art in international styles which again will come from Asia, South America, Europe, and Africa. He or she will scan the artwork and upload it to a computer. After that, he or she will put the artwork on our website. He or she will also be in charge of sales. To receive payments from customers. he or she will have to use a card reader. He or she will have to prepare customers’ online orders. During trips abroad, the intern will use a card reader to receive payments from customers. Our executive director will interview candidates for positions and work together with our director of international outreach at home and abroad to meet with the executive directors of international art museums, form partnerships with them, and bring back their artwork to the United States for recreation of their styles while our artists will recreate the styles of international contemporary art in their work. Our teaching artists and arts administrators will teach workshops on art studio or arts administration topics while gallery interns will take care of our collections and sales at home and abroad.

Marketing
We will use several social media and print services to market exhibitions, workshops, and other gallery events. We will use Facebook, Instagram, our website, email, and show cards to market them, which will be our multi marketing strategy. In addition to our multi marketing strategy, we will be selling German expressionist paintings and other artwork of international styles created by professional and non-professional artists. We will traditional , social media, and email marketing to market our gallery’s exhibitions and other gallery events which will be beneficial to both professional and non-professional artists.

Our executive director will write posts for our Facebook and Instagram pages and update our website with information about exhibitions, workshops , other gallery events, and products for sale. He or she will also make show cards to give to patrons when they view offline exhibitions. In addition to posting on Facebook and Instagram and updating our website, he or she will send out emails to subscribers of our website and patrons to our offline exhibitions. Our executive director will reach out to our audience through social media, email, our website, and posters which will inform our patrons about our educational programs, gallery events, other online and offline activities, and announcements. He or she will implement a multi marketing strategy which will help us give information about our gallery to our subscribers and patrons.
